 Wow the last few weeks have been crazy, 

We've seen so many miracles the last few weeks, tons of people have been coming to church. Right now we are teaching 3 families. A couple that we've been teaching for a few months decided to get married too, but the earliest date they could get married is in August 😐. 

Also, we stopped teaching Christian from a few months ago because he never went to church or anything. We saw him at a bus stop this week and he asked us what time church started at and stuff, so we went to his house on Saturday night and invited him to church and he said "si Dios lo permite" which means if God permits it, and he would just say that to everything we would ask him to do so I told him to stop saying that. I said, if he really wants to change his life he has to stop saying if God permits it because God obviously wants him to go to church. So for the first time he finally came to church by himself then he told us his story about drugs and prison. 

The gospel really does change people. I've seen so many people speechless or in tears after hearing the message of Christ's gospel because they've felt his spirit just overwhelm them. As a missionary I literally just get free food from people and share about Christ everyday.

Week 10

  Soooo The whole city of Santiago got downgraded to phase 1 quarantine which means we have 4 hours a week to leave the house and buy food. From what I've heard it sounds like it'll be that way for 5ish weeks, but last time they were in phase 1 it was for 5 months soooo... Anyways we are still able to teach people over the phone and have been able to find some really cool people from the area book. It's not ideal, but it's a huge blessing to even have a phone considering our mission just got smart phones within the last year. But yeah, we've just been progressing with people and Camila made it to church so when we go back to phase 2 she can be baptized!   This last month was pretty good. We have been working a lot. The 18th of  S eptember was Chile's  In dependence  D ay, which is the biggest holiday of the year. We ate a lot of food that week. We also went to the temple last week, and this weekend was  G eneral  C onference! General  Co nference is when a prophet of God preaches to the world. His name is Russel l M  Nelson.   These past weeks were pretty good.  I got transferred to a new area a couple weeks ago. It's pretty much in downtown Santiago... our area has all the Chilean government buildings and tourism stuff. I've seen a couple Americans here. The majority of people here are immigrants from Venezuela, Haiti, or Peru. The work is a lot different because our area is so small and we can't talk to people in the street a whole lot because they don't live in our area. But it's really cool. I'm also training a new missionary named Elder Knudsen from Utah who just got here.
