Hi

 Hola
These past few weeks have flown by,
We got news that the the Chilean borders will open in October, so our Mission President will come and 82 missionaries waiting to come.

We also had transfers yesterday. I'm staying in the new area, and got a new comp, Elder Figueroa. That will probably change pretty soon though when we get all the new missionaries.
Elder Figueroa likes to work, so this will be a good time.

Also the 18th of September happened. That is the Independence Day of Chile and the biggest holiday here. It's pretty much the 4th of July without the fireworks. We had a barbecue and there is a special dance that the Chileans did called the Cueca. Actually a lot of things were different, but the colors of the the Chilean flag are red white and blue so it looks like the fourth at least when everyone puts their flags out.

Its starting to get hot here again😬

We have been having some pretty good lessons lately. Yesterday we taught a girl named Cynthia who is actually really receptive and receptive to the gospel. When we taught her there were 7 dogs and 3 cats in one room.
One thing I studied this week was the story of Ammon in the Book of Mormon. He was serving the king with other servants tending flocks of sheep when some goons would come and mess with them. This made the other servants cry because the king would kill them for not protecting the flocks. When the other servants were crying it says "Now when Ammon saw this his heart was swollen within him with joy"
He was happy despite the chaos because he knew God was with him and this would make for a great opportunity to share the gospel which he did. With all the chaos in the world we should be happy for the opportunity to share.

Bunkey dunks merch came in💯
