This week was pretty good. There have been fires close to Santiago so there has been a lot of smoke. It's kind of nice though because it's not as hot anymore. This week Cesar got baptized! He is an awesome guy, and has a cool story. He has had a lot of problems in his life. I suppose I only got 1 or 2 more emails left...                                                                       Me and Elder Beeler                                            ...

Its crazy to think I'll be home in 3 weeks. It kinda sucks I don't want to go home yet. I got a new companion and am training again. My comps name is Elder Wright, He's huge and probably going to play basketball at Utah State. We have been working super hard. I was wrong in my last email, we pretty much spend all our day in the streets. It's getting so hot here. Our friend Ruben got baptized thus Sunday. In his confirmation blessing he got blessed for temporal things and his job, and 10 minutes later when we were eating a cake to celebrate his baptism he got a text with a really good job offer. God works miracles. Also we bought some ties in downtown Santiago and got Tik Tok famous. The videos are pretty good.                                             ...

These past weeks were pretty good.  I got transferred to a new area a couple weeks ago. It's pretty much in downtown Santiago... our area has all the Chilean government buildings and tourism stuff. I've seen a couple Americans here. The majority of people here are immigrants from Venezuela, Haiti, or Peru. The work is a lot different because our area is so small and we can't talk to people in the street a whole lot because they don't live in our area. But it's really cool. I'm also training a new missionary named Elder Knudsen from Utah who just got here. It's been pretty fun.  We baptized our friends Elyzabeth and Xiomara yesterday!   Me, Elyzabeth, Xiomara, y Elder Knudsen Me and Elder Knudsen                                             ...

This last month was pretty good. We have been working a lot. The 18th of  S eptember was Chile's  In dependence  D ay, which is the biggest holiday of the year. We ate a lot of food that week. We also went to the temple last week, and this weekend was  G eneral  C onference! General  Co nference is when a prophet of God preaches to the world. His name is Russel l M  Nelson. I t  was super good .  A l ot  of the people we  are  teaching watched it and said they felt the Holy  Spi rit really strongly.                   Noche de hogar with Jonathon and the family of bishop                                                          ...

The past few weeks have been pretty good. We have been working really hard, and had transfers again, I'm staying in my area and my new companion is Elder Louk from Texas. Yesterday, Chile voted on a new constitution and it got rejected. Everyone has to vote or they'll be fined so nobody went to church. Also, a lot of photos from my last email never loaded. But yeah we're teaching some cool people that will hopefully be baptized this month.                                                 Rogers baptism with Kari, Dari, Y elena                                            ...

We'll I haven't written in a month, but it's been good. We have been working really hard, and our friend Roger got baptized. This week we already have transfers again, so I'll be staying in my area and will have a new companion from Texas starting tomorrow. I only have 3 transfers left. Chile is going  to  vote on a new constitution the first week of September, and they are expecting a lot of riots. We also had another pretty decent earthquake this week. But yeah, honestly we're just working really hard especially because I don't have a lot of time left in my mission.                                                  I got a pokemon pinyata for my new comp elder cortez            ...

Last week I moved back to Santiago. I'm super close to my first area in Chile, and actually ran into a few people that I met there.  Last week in my last area our friend named Diana got baptized so that was super hype. Her kids were excited about it after not wanting to hear us for a month, so they'll probably get baptized soon. Also, a couple weeks ago it rained for 3 days in a row which is crazy here. All the streets were flooded and a tree fell down on our chapel. The power was out for a couple days.  There isn't a ton happening in my new area so we will work a lot.                                                           Me and my homie Ivens              ...
