Serving the Lord in Chile

  Pretty much all of our lessons fell through and the person we were going to baptize on Sunday got robbed and beat  up  on Saturday night so he had to go to the hospital on Sunday. Satan is definitely working hard, but it's a testament of good things to come. We actually did have a few good lessons and a ton of people went to church. Also we have a few inch wide gaps in the walls of our house and there isn't insulation so our house is literally a freezer. Especially cuz its starting to get around 30 degrees at night.                                                                   Working with Sebastian                 ...

  This week was nice . We've been teaching this guy named  R uben that we found the first week I got in this area, and he is probably my favorite person I've taught my whole mission. Every  t ime we go there he just asks us questions for an hour. He used to be a  P astor and preached back in the day when he lived in Venezuela, so he is super knowledgeable in the Bible, thus he has been very cautious about the  B ook of Mormon and there being more to the scriptures. We walked in and read 1 Corinthians 2, and talked about how he had to let go and let the  S pirit teach him. Then he said that he felt the Spirit super strong and his face collapsed on the table and he cried for a while. It was one of the most powerful lessons I've had. He is going to stop working on Sundays so he can go to church now, but keep him in your prayers so he can get baptized soon. A lot of people came to church this week. We had transfers again, Elder Rodriguez left and my new comp is Elder Wettstein from Arizona. We ' ve been working super hard finding new people. My birthday was last week, we pretty much just taught people all day then a member gave me a cake. I'm starting to become an addict to the street food here. That ' s pretty much everything though .   W e ' ve had a lot of powerful lessons with the  S pirit, its awesome.
