Serving the Lord in Chile

  Hola  These past few weeks have flown by, We got news that the the Chilean borders will open in October, so our  M ission  P resident will come and 82 missionaries waiting to come.  We also had transfers yesterday. I'm staying in the new area, and got a new comp, Elder Figueroa. That will probably change pretty soon though when we get all the new missionaries.  Elder Figueroa likes to work, so this will be a good time.  Also the 18th of September happened. That is the Independence Day of  C hile and the biggest holiday here. It's pretty much the 4th of  J uly without the fireworks. We had a barbecue and there is a special dance that the  C hileans did called the  C ueca. Actually a lot of things were different, but the colors of the the Chilean flag are red white and blue so it looks like the fourth at least when everyone puts their flags out.  Its starting to get hot here again We have been having some pretty good lessons la...

Hola, We've been working the last couple of weeks Were teaching a good amount of people right now. I found a guy named Jeremy on facebook, we've gone to his house a few times and he's pretty sick. We gave him a Book of Mormon to read and he just happened to flip to and read about the sons of perdition in the index so that's epic. Were also working on some other people and have been contacting a good amount in the streets.  It's awesome to see the Lord guide us in his work! Its awesome to see the change the gospel brings into individuals and families!! The Chilean White House
