Quarantine ://
Well the whole city of Santiago just went back to phase 1 quarantine so that's kinda crusty ngl.
The last week was really good though!! We made the most out of being out of quarantine.
We had some awesome lessons in person.
Also kind of a yikes, but turns out we can't get people married during quarantine. Alicia will have to wait a while to be baptized, we also have another guy named Patricio who wants to be baptized and married, but he just has to wait for that too.
We are still teaching that couple we met at the park, Felipe and Elizabeth. They are super cool, and came to church again!! Felipe's cousin was able to come to one of our lessons with them.
We had an awesome lesson with a man named Brandon last night. We're helping him get ready for his baptism in July!
Also had an exchange with Elder Law the homie this week
We had our last mission conference with president Bentley since they leave in July. My favorite part about it was a picture he showed us of a dude holding a ton of valuable things, like keys, money, books, and stuff. Then there was a rope representing the iron rod. He said that in order to follow the rod to eternal life we have to drop everything we are holding on to currently. This means everyone has to sacrifice something. When we make sacrifices for God and let him prevail, perspectives change. It's already weird seeing things that were "valuable" to me 6 months ago mean nothing to me now.
