First full week out of quarantine since March and it was GLORIOUS.
Yeah so pretty much most of the people we taught over the phone during quarantine don't  live in our area, because we have the smallest area in the mission. It's all good though, we met a ton of people out in the streets this week. I'm able to get my Spanish in use with natives here again so that's nice. Nothing better than getting outside and talking with the locals. 

I was reading in Either about the brother of Jared this week. This is one of my favorite scriptures about faith in the Book of Mormon. 
26 For he had said unto him in times before, that aif he would bbelieve in him that he could show unto him call things—it should be shown unto him; therefore the Lord could not withhold anything from him, for he knew that the Lord could show him all things.

The prophet put a big emphasis on faith this last conference, and he gave us 5 things to do to grow it. One was 
   Fourth, partake of sacred ordinances worthily. Ordinances unlock the power of God for your life.12

He only had two sentences about it, so our mission president had all of us do a study on it. Me and my companion had a really fruitful study on it. I don't have time to type out everything we talked about, so I encourage you guys to look into it too :)👍

Week 10

  Soooo The whole city of Santiago got downgraded to phase 1 quarantine which means we have 4 hours a week to leave the house and buy food. From what I've heard it sounds like it'll be that way for 5ish weeks, but last time they were in phase 1 it was for 5 months soooo... Anyways we are still able to teach people over the phone and have been able to find some really cool people from the area book. It's not ideal, but it's a huge blessing to even have a phone considering our mission just got smart phones within the last year. But yeah, we've just been progressing with people and Camila made it to church so when we go back to phase 2 she can be baptized! Since we were inside a lot of the week and there isn't a lot to write about I'll leave you with this,  I came across Alma 37:36-37 this week, 36 Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be...

  This last month was pretty good. We have been working a lot. The 18th of  S eptember was Chile's  In dependence  D ay, which is the biggest holiday of the year. We ate a lot of food that week. We also went to the temple last week, and this weekend was  G eneral  C onference! General  Co nference is when a prophet of God preaches to the world. His name is Russel l M  Nelson.   These past weeks were pretty good.  I got transferred to a new area a couple weeks ago. It's pretty much in downtown Santiago... our area has all the Chilean government buildings and tourism stuff. I've seen a couple Americans here. The majority of people here are immigrants from Venezuela, Haiti, or Peru. The work is a lot different because our area is so small and we can't talk to people in the street a whole lot because they don't live in our area. But it's really cool. I'm also training a new missionary named Elder Knudsen from Utah who just got here.
