6 meses

Holaaa chonchitos

I hit 6 months last week! Time has been flying by super quick. After being here since March I finally went to church in person!! (Well kinda nobody told us we had to sign up for it beforehand because only a certain amount of people are allowed to go, so we left after seeing the sign up sheet) luckily our investigators were going to watch on zoom. For sure next week tho. We are also allowed to have lunch inside at members which is pretty hype.

I've had a lot of unique challenges in the last 6 months making the work hard at times, but it's made my desire to follow Jesus Christ so much stronger.

We taught a man this week named Jorge. He requested a book of Mormon study with us. Mans is also a bible wizard. Like tons of people talk big game about the bible and don't know where they pull out their quotes to roast the church, but Jorge was literally quoting Genesis to Revelations. We had a lesson about the plan of salvation for over 2 hours, and his mind was blown away. I've never seen somebody so open minded too. It was just another testament to me that both the Book of Mormon and Bible enhance each other, and one doesn't replace the other.

We have a Haitian girl named Melissa who wants to be baptized, but her parents won't let her. However, we just found out this week that there is another Haitian family living a door down that were baptized in Haiti. They were super humble and nice, and told us they would love to have a lesson with us and Melissa's family. Hopefully her parents will open up a little bit 🥴

We ran up part of this and my legs haven't been this saucy since Matt Nelson hit me with the 16 32 4x4 special
