Holaaa

Thanks for all the birthday wishes!!

Tbh this week wasn't the craziest. We've had a lot of people not clutch up to our lessons and stuff, but we still saw some pretty cool blessings.

About a month ago we were teaching a woman who was really receptive to our lessons, she said she believed everything we told her, but she just didn't want to act on anything which was kinda lame so we stopped teaching her. We called her again last week, and her husband picked up. He said that she's been in the hospital for a while with covid and other stuff. It's pretty hard on him especially because she is still pretty young, but he's a DAWG. After the last two lessons we've had he asked if we could read the Book of Mormon with him. He's always had really good questions for us too.

Also Alicia wasn't able to get married last time, so she just has to wait for a day the marriage people can fill out the forms or whatever. I'm not sure how that works, but hopefully she can get baptized soon though.

Since we're still in quarantine and our other people were pretty dry this week we started facebook finding. We video called people across the world then sent them off to missionaries near them, so that was pretty cool.

I read about the Anti Nephi Lehi's a while ago and was thinking about their covenant to bury their weapons and never fight again. They were so committed that they would let themselves as well as their families die to keep their promise with God. Though they ended up dying in a massacre, the end of verse 25 says "and we know that they are blessed, for they have gone to dwell with their God." I know that when we keep promises with God we will be blessed, though we may not see those blessings until after this life.

21 Now when the people saw that they were coming against them they went out to meet them, and aprostrated themselves before them to the earth, and began to call on the name of the Lord; and thus they were in this attitude when the Lamanites began to fall upon them, and began to slay them with the sword.

22 And thus without meeting any resistance, they did slay a athousand and five of them; and we know that they are blessed, for they have gone to dwell with their God.
This was just up the hill from the mission office
