Week 10
Soooo
The whole city of Santiago got downgraded to phase 1 quarantine which means we have 4 hours a week to leave the house and buy food.
From what I've heard it sounds like it'll be that way for 5ish weeks, but last time they were in phase 1 it was for 5 months soooo...
Anyways we are still able to teach people over the phone and have been able to find some really cool people from the area book. It's not ideal, but it's a huge blessing to even have a phone considering our mission just got smart phones within the last year.
But yeah, we've just been progressing with people and Camila made it to church so when we go back to phase 2 she can be baptized! Since we were inside a lot of the week and there isn't a lot to write about I'll leave you with this,
I came across Alma 37:36-37 this week,
36 Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.
37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
I know that the more we give unto the Lord, the more we will receive. Sometimes we may feel like we are adequate enough and don't need God's help. However, we are strongest when we humble ourselves and let God prevail in our lives.
